What we process and why

• Enquiries and correspondence: your name, email address, optional phone number and company, message and attachments. We use these to respond, prepare quotations and communicate with you. Where you are a prospective contracting party, the basis is taking steps at your request before entering into a contract and performing that contract (GDPR Article 6(1)(b)). For business partners’ contact persons, the basis is our legitimate interest in business communication (Article 6(1)(f)).
• Orders and legal obligations: identification, contact and billing details needed to perform contracts and maintain legally required records (Article 6(1)(b) and (c)). We may retain necessary information for establishing or defending legal claims on the basis of legitimate interests (Article 6(1)(f)).
• Job applications: contact details, CVs and other information you provide are used to assess your application and communicate during the relevant recruitment process. The basis is taking steps at your request before entering into an employment contract (Article 6(1)(b)).
• Website operation and security: technical data, such as IP addresses, request times and browser information, may be processed in operational logs for availability, diagnostics and protection against misuse. The basis is our legitimate interest in operating a secure website (Article 6(1)(f)).
• Optional external content: we load embedded Google Maps only with your consent (Article 6(1)(a)). See our Cookies notice.

We need contact details to reply to your enquiry. Optional fields do not have to be completed. Please do not include personal data in messages or attachments unless it is necessary for your request.

Who may receive the data

Data may be processed by authorised personnel and service providers needed to operate our business and website, particularly hosting, email and IT support providers, and, where relevant, accounting and legal advisers. Information may be disclosed to public authorities where required by law.

Files submitted through the enquiry form may be stored in the website’s file storage and included in enquiry emails. Please consider the scope of information you send in technical documentation.

If you allow the map, Google also receives data. For users in the European Economic Area, the relevant services are provided by Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland. Google processes data under its Privacy Policy. Processing may also take place outside the European Economic Area; Google describes international transfers and the applicable safeguards in that policy.

Retention

Retention depends on the purpose. Enquiries are kept for the time needed to handle them and for necessary follow-up communication. If a contractual relationship is established, further retention depends on its duration, legal requirements and the period necessary to establish or defend legal claims.

Accounting and other mandatory records are retained for the periods required by applicable law. Recruitment documents are used for the relevant recruitment process; any further retention requires a separate lawful basis. Operational logs are kept for the period necessary for security and investigating specific incidents. When the purpose and legal basis no longer apply, we delete or anonymise the data.

Our Cookies notice explains how long your cookie preference is stored. Withdrawing permission for the map does not itself delete information already received by Google.

Your rights

Subject to the conditions of the GDPR, you may request access, rectification, erasure or restriction of processing. You have the right to data portability where applicable. You may object to processing based on legitimate interests.

You may withdraw consent at any time. For the map, useCookie settings. Withdrawal does not affect the lawfulness of processing carried out before it.
